We work with various corporations or organizations from different segments to organize non-credit bearing internship programme to students.

Local Internship

Credit bearing internship

The credit-bearing internship is handled by individual faculty.

Grades will be given by related faculty members and it is considered as part of curriculum, so local or non-local students can take part in internship if they have taken the relevant internship courses.

If you want to cooperate with faculty to organize credit bearing internship, please contact the general office of related faculty .

Non-credit bearing internship

The non-credit bearing internship is facilitated by our center.

Non-Credit Bearing Local Internship is only eligible to students who hold valid Macau ID card or non-local students whose curriculum that includes internship course. Otherwise, it violates the Regulamento Administrativo n.º 17/2004 and Lei n.º 10/2017.

Internship Period

Summer holiday: Jun to Aug (about 3 months). Please feel free to confer with interns about the actual start date and end date of internship individually.

Career and Internship Fair

  • We will launch a campus promotion campaign to promote this annual event together with the employment opportunities and summer internship placement to students in one go.
  • You can participate in this event to communicate with students directly.

Company selection to look for suitable interns

Confirmation of internship

  •  We highly suggest confirm and inform the selected students about the internship details before the final examination (early May).
  • After confirming with the students, please fill out the confirmation form and send it to sao.career@um.edu.mo for our follow-up.

Internship briefing sessions

  • After the exam, we will conduct briefing sessions (if applicable) for the selected students to assist them in preparing for the internship.

Interns’ performance evaluation

  • Please submit student interns’ performance forms to us when they have completed their internships for us to issue certificates.
