Not all universities require a resume in the admission application. However, the information on your resume can help your teachers to write recommendation letters.

To make it concise and easy-to-read,

you should keep it to no more than 2 pages. You should write a resume with the following items in reverse-chronological order:

Including full name, contact information

Including the degrees that you obtained since high school, major field of study and minor, GPA, academic awards

E.g. work experience related to the field of study that you are applying for, volunteer work. List the name of company/ organization, position, and job duties

Including name of organization, position in the organization, job duties

E.g.language, computer knowledge

If you have ever published your thesis on academic journal or presented in an academic conference, you should include these experiences on resume.
